Rendezvous Town Homes

What Happened 175 Years Ago On The Land Where You Live Today?
Plant Your Roots Where History was Made…at Rendezvous

At Rendezvous, you’ll find state-of-the-art townhomes with their roots deep in American history.

Crafted with the very latest green building technology, these homes stand on the exact spot where traders, trappers, mountain men, Native Americans, and settlers camped for the sprawling summer Rendezvous festivals of 1829 and 1832.

John Pierson Beckwourth, mountain man extraordinaire, recalled those days in his memoir:

It may well be supposed that the arrival of such a vast amount of luxuries from the East did not pass off without a general celebration. Mirth, song, dancing, shooting, trading, running, jumping, singing, racing, target-shooting, yarns, frolic, with all sort of extravagances that white men or Indians could invent were freely indulged in. The unpacking of the medicine water contributed not a little to the heightening of our festivities.

With their foundations resting on so much history, it’s only right that the three Rendezvous models honor the men whose names are local legends.

Colter

Named for Lewis and Clark cartographer Private John Colter (1774-1813) -- the first white man to witness Yellowstone and Jackson Hole -- this cozy model offers two bedrooms and two and a half baths in 1,100 square feet of exquisitely designed living space.

Fitzpatrick

Respected by Native and non-Native alike, Thomas “Broken Hand” Fitzpatrick (1799-1854) is remembered as one of the greatest mountain men, pioneer guides, and Indian agents of the Old West.

The two 1,374-square-foot models that bear his name give you a choice of two spacious bedroom suites, with or without an additional loft bedroom. Both models have two and a half baths.

Beckwourth

John Pierson Beckwourth (1798-1866) lived large, journeying from Florida to the Pacific, and from southern Canada to northern Mexico, gathering juicy tales and historical tidbits along the way. He was the first African-American explorer to leave a memoir of his adventures in the American West.

His name now graces the largest of the Rendezvous models: 1,470 square feet with three bedrooms and two and a half baths.
